If since before the pandemic it was common to find pet-friendly spaces, with this crisis the value that people give to places that allow assistance with pets has grown significantly, and hotels are seeing an opportunity there. For this reason, the so-called Pet friendly is gaining strength in the hotel sector in Latin America.
According to Euromonitor International, before the pandemic the growth of this trend and in general of the category in the world was estimated at around 5%.

A recent investigation by Booking.com also revealed that 45% of people who have pets agree on the importance of choosing a destination based on whether they can take them. Among the preferred activities, says the company, people opt for the option of babysitting (32%), gym and canine spa (28%); and exclusive parties (13%).
